Mr. Karan Thapar, Chairman

Mr. Karan Thapar, Chairman of the Company, aged 51, is a Chartered Accountant and belongs to the Promoter family.   He joined the Board of the Company in 1990.  He has work experience of over 24 years in different companies.

Mr. Dellinder Kohli, Managing Director

Mr D Kohli, aged 64, has 44 years of experience including 22 years as a Pilot with the IAF. He was the Air Force ADC with two Presidents of India and was commended for his role in the 1971 war with Pakistan. He took premature retirement as a Wing Commander and joined the Company in 1989. He has held various responsibilities including GM (Clay), VP (Corp. HR & Operations), COO & ED.

Mr. Rahul Gupta, Executive Director

Mr. Rahul Gupta (56) is a Chemical Engineer from IIT, Delhi and and thereafter he did his MS from McGill University, Montreal.  He had about 35 years of experience in diverse industries, including Engineering, Chemicals, Polymers, Metals, Textile, Telecom.  His previous assignment was with Usha Martin Limited, as the CEO/ Director of their Telecom Cable and Construction subsidiaries.

Mr. Som Nath Dua

A Chartered Accountant and Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, 67-year-old Mr. Dua has 43 years of work experience behind him. He has worked in various capacities, including Financial Re-Structuring/Resource Management, Cost Control Management, HRD Initiatives, Business Environment Management, Foreign Collaboration and Joint Ventures etc.

Mr. Suresh Kumar Toshniwal

Mr. S.K. Toshniwal, 62, is a Commerce graduate with 29 years of experience in different areas, such as production, quality control, marketing and administration, in various companies. He is a member of various trade organizations and holds directorship in several companies.

Mr. Jainender Kumar Jain

Mr. J.K. Jain (62) is a Chartered Accountant. He retired from Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) as Director (Finance) and was nominated on the Board by ICICI Bank Ltd. 

Mr. Vijay Rai

Mr. Vijay Rai is B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur. He has rich experience of over 38 years in different industries, including Industrial Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Engineering. He was the Vice President of Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry and has been member of several industry associations.
